[Update] Shooting Outside Fairgrounds Injures Juvenile, Suspect Arrested

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Law enforcement officials have provided an update on a shooting that took place late Saturday evening near the Pennington County Fairgrounds, stating a juvenile male has been identified and taken into custody. The incident occurred at approximately 10:05 p.m. in a parking lot west of the fairgrounds. Responding officers located a juvenile male with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, who was then transported to a hospital for treatment.
